“At your request we constituted ourselves an ad hoc group to conclude the studies of the A.V. Roe Company project Y2, which was presented to the Scientific Advisory Board at the Omaha meetings in September of this year. We visited the A. V. Roe Company in Toronto on November 17 and 18. ... The Y2 is an airplane of circular plan form, originally built up around a radial flow turbojet with the exhaust capable of being deflected downward in an annular jet for take-off and hovering near the ground.”
Addressed to General James H. Doolittle, Acting Chairman, Scientific Advisory Board, December 6 1954. The file is released under a name about "UFO Sighting Reports"; its first substantive document is an aeronautical engineering review.

What this document is used for, page by page
Every claim on this map that rests on this document, and every claim tested against it and deliberately not used — in the order you would meet them reading the file itself. Where the check was written down, our wording is followed by the document’s own sentence, so you can hold the two side by side. None of them names a page yet.
