Last leader of the Soviet Union. He and Ronald Reagan both later recalled discussing at their 1985 Geneva summit how the U.S. and USSR would cooperate if Earth faced an alien invasion; Gorbachev separately said UFO phenomena deserved serious joint scientific study.
