Langley AFB Triangle (2012)
A craft reported over Langley Air Force Base, Virginia, in the summer of 2012 by Dylan Borland, then a 1N1 geospatial intelligence specialist stationed there, who testified under oath on 9 September 2025 that at about 0130 he watched a white light rise from near the NASA hangar, cross the flightline toward him, and resolve into an approximately 100-foot equilateral triangle that held position about 100 feet above him for two to three minutes before ascending in seconds with no sound and no wind displacement. He describes his telephone becoming hot and freezing, static electricity, and the smell of a thunderstorm afterwards. THE ACCOUNT HAS ONE WITNESS AND HE SAYS SO: asked directly whether anyone else saw it, he answered not to his knowledge. He also testified that he believes the craft involved the United States government, then and now. No after-action report or command inquiry followed, by his account.

Notes on this record
THE MONTH AND DAY ARE NOT ESTABLISHED. Dylan Borland testified only to "the summer of 2012", at approximately 0130. The date here is a placeholder inside that summer, carried so the event can be drawn on a timeline at all; it must never be quoted as the date of the event. Nothing this project holds narrows it further.
