Pantex Unidentified Object (2015)
A diamond-shaped object detected by ground surveillance radar drifting north over the Pantex Plant near Amarillo, Texas - the primary U.S. facility for nuclear weapon assembly and disassembly - on September 1, 2015. Security personnel pursued it by vehicle and tracked it by camera for several minutes at low altitude; witnesses could identify no sound or visible propulsion system and gave conflicting descriptions of its color. Footage was sent to Sandia National Labs for enhancement, and all evidence was turned over to the FBI. The report records no identification, and states that all evidence of the incident - statements, video and other material - was turned over to the FBI. Pursuing officers described it as roughly 4 feet tall and 2 feet wide at the base, tapering thinner toward the top, and noted it appeared to speed up and change direction while being followed. A responding Carson County Sheriff's deputy was unable to locate it after it left Pantex property.

It does not support this
The object was never identified.
The report says it was not identified during the incident and that all evidence went to the FBI. It says nothing about afterwards. "Never identified" is an argument from silence - guardrail 5.
RESOLVED 2026-08-19 with the operator: replaced with what the report records. The document is silent on what happened after the evidence left; the node no longer speaks for that silence.
