Albuquerque businessman and UFO researcher who, from the late 1970s, believed he was recording alien activity near Kirtland AFB. He became the target of a documented Air Force counterintelligence disinformation campaign (Richard Doty/AFOSI) that fed him fabricated alien material; he suffered a mental breakdown. The clearest documented case of the government seeding UFO disinformation. Died 2003.
