American trade negotiator and lobbyist (Nixon/Ford-era USTR official). In 2024, shortly before his death, claimed he had been briefed on "otherworld technologies" by CIA officer Richard Bissell, investigated an alien object recovered during a nuclear test on President Kennedy's behalf, and personally confronted Curtis LeMay during the Cuban Missile Crisis. A 2025 investigation using declassified FBI background checks and his own 1960s job applications found no evidence for these or his other self-described government/intelligence roles.
