1995

Professor of statistics (UC Irvine) and 2016 president of the American Statistical Association. Co-authored the 1995 statistical evaluation of the U.S. government's Stargate remote-viewing program, concluding the measured effect was statistically significant. Served as a judge on the 2021 BICS essay contest.
