Doyle Rees

Lieutenant Colonel, USAF; District Commander of the 17th District Office of Special Investigations at Kirtland Air Force Base. He signed the "Summary of Observations of Aerial Phenomena in the New Mexico Area, December 1948 - May 1950" of 25 May 1950 to Brig Gen Joseph F. Carroll at Headquarters USAF, and Lincoln LaPaz addressed his numbered "Anomalous Luminous Phenomena" reports to him. It is Rees's signature under the sentence that the continued occurrence of these phenomena "in the vicinity of sensitive installations is cause for concern."
