Karl Pribram
Neuroscientist whose holographic model of mind the 1983 US Army Gateway report takes as the foundation of its entire second half. The report describes him at printed page 8 as "a neuroscientist at Stanford University" and pairs him with the physicist David Bohm: "According to the theories of Karl Pribram... and David Bohm... the human mind is also a hologram which attunes itself to the universal hologram." At printed page 9 it quotes Marilyn Ferguson saying the Pribram-Bohm theories "appear to account for all transcendental experience, paranormal events and even 'normal' perceptual oddities." Added 24 August 2026, when that report was transcribed in full and the map was found to hold neither of the two scientists its best-known consciousness document is built on.
