English UFO investigator, author, and civil servant who ran the UK Ministry of Defence's "UFO Desk" (1991-1994); dubbed the "real-life Fox Mulder" and a longtime History Channel Ancient Aliens regular. Initially hoped Grusch's claims could be confirmed or disconfirmed, but said that once Grusch lost his security clearance with still no "smoking gun," it's hard to see how they ever could be, adding that if the US had acquired craft and bodies while he was at the MoD, "they didn't tell the UK." Died April 6, 2026, of stage IV esophageal cancer, two months after disclosing the diagnosis.
