Senior scientist at Computer Sciences Corp., El Segundo, and faculty in the Department of Engineering at UCLA; testified at the 1968 House symposium on the analysis of UFO photographic and film evidence. He told the committee he preferred the term 'anomalistic observational phenomena' (AOP) to 'unidentified flying objects' - a renaming argument made 54 years before the U.S. government adopted 'unidentified anomalous phenomena'.
