Will Miller

1997-01-01year known, day not recorded

Commander Will Miller, USN (ret.) - a DIA-linked intelligence officer and UFO researcher who, per the Wilson-Davis memo, first told Adm. Wilson about the alleged crash-retrieval program in 1997, and in 2002 wrote Eric Davis and Hal Puthoff offering to help research UFO crash retrievals and name likely contractors. His alleged breach of confidence (telling Greer and others) is what the memo says angered Wilson.

In the UAP recordRuled into the unidentified-phenomena thread on 2 September 2026 from this entity's own name and role text, which contain: "ufo", "crash-retriev". An editorial classification of what thread this entity belongs to; it rests on no page and does not claim to. Neighbours were not used - see apply-subjects-2026-09-02.mjs for why.

None of this entity's 5 connections has a source you can open. One is bound to a document this project holds and quotes but cannot republish, so it does not count above. 4 were tested against a document we hold and deliberately not bound.

  • Thomas Wilson attached, not counted
    This map says
per the memo, allegedly first told Wilson about the crash-retrieval program (1997)
    The document says
After group broke up, Miller/Wilson talked (privately) 2 hours on UFOs, MJ-12, Roswell, crashed UFOs/alien bodies, etc. ... TW: Yes, Miller asked the question on MJ-12/UFO cabal - crashed UFO.
EWD Notes - Eric Davis meeting with Adm. Wilson, 16 October 2002, 2002
printed p. 1  ·  read off the page footer
rendered and read by eye — the grade this project quotes from
Caveat ADM. THOMAS WILSON DENIES THAT THIS MEETING TOOK PLACE. This link is sourced to what these private notes record, not to anything established. The document is marked support:false and is not counted toward this project's sourcing figure.
  • Eric Davis not bound, on purpose
    The claim we tested
wrote Davis and Hal Puthoff (Apr 2002) offering to help research UFO crash retrievals
    What the document actually says
    - not on any page read. Printed 15 records Davis asking whether Wilson would speak to Puthoff; it says nothing of an April 2002 letter.
EWD Notes - Eric Davis meeting with Adm. Wilson, 16 October 2002, 2002
printed p. 1  ·  read off the page footer
Why we refused it. Not supported by the five pages read. PROVISIONAL: ten of this document's fifteen pages are unread.
  • Hal Puthoff not bound, on purpose
    The claim we tested
addressed his 2002 offer to Davis and Hal Puthoff jointly (Warp Drive Metrics)
    What the document actually says
EWD: Willing to talk to Hal Puthoff and Kit Green? ... - Maybe/maybe not for Hal - would think about it.
EWD Notes - Eric Davis meeting with Adm. Wilson, 16 October 2002, 2002
printed p. 15  ·  read off the page footer
Why we refused it. PUTHOFF IS HERE AND THE LETTER IS NOT. Warp Drive Metrics appears nowhere in the pages read. PROVISIONAL.
  • Steven Greer not bound, on purpose
    The claim we tested
the memo alleges he relayed the Wilson conversation to Steven Greer
    What the document actually says
TW: Confirmed Greer/Miller/Mitchell gave talk in Pentagon Conference room. ... After group broke up, Miller/Wilson talked (privately) 2 hours
EWD Notes - Eric Davis meeting with Adm. Wilson, 16 October 2002, 2002
printed p. 1  ·  read off the page footer
Why we refused it. THE PAGE PUTS GREER IN THE ROOM BEFORE THE CONVERSATION, NOT AFTER IT. It records the three men giving a talk, and then Miller and Wilson speaking privately once the group broke up. That Miller later told Greer what was said is a different claim and is not on this page. PROVISIONAL.
  • Edgar Mitchell not bound, on purpose
    The claim we tested
allegedly relayed the account to Edgar Mitchell, who told Davis in 1999
    What the document actually says
TW: Confirmed Greer/Miller/Mitchell gave talk in Pentagon Conference room ... (Ed Mitchell said 4/9/97.)
EWD Notes - Eric Davis meeting with Adm. Wilson, 16 October 2002, 2002
printed p. 1  ·  read off the page footer
Caveat REWORDED 30 August 2026 for consistency with link 775, which describes the same act and already says "the memo alleges". "Allegedly" with no allegator is an accusation from nowhere; the allegator here is the Wilson-Davis memo and the sentence now says so.
Why we refused it. The parenthesis shows Mitchell supplying a date to someone, which is close to the claim and is not the claim. The relayed-account chain is not on this page. PROVISIONAL.
