Thomas Townsend Brown
Physicist and inventor; a declassified FBI document lists him as the Navy's top radar expert as of 1943. Conducted experiments (later called the "Biefeld-Brown effect") using charged capacitors that produced unexplained thrust, witnessed by figures including Edward Teller and Curtis LeMay. Aviation journalist Bill Gunston and others say his work influenced the B-2 stealth bomber's design; he died in relative obscurity.
